Welcome to the Chaos Behind My Roguelite Card Game🎴

Hey there 👋 The roguelite card game I’ve been working on for a while and now demo is ready!

This game is built on:

• Unique battle systems
• Weather conditions with serious effects
• Cards that can leave your deck and face you as bosses
• Difficulty levels that truly challenge the player
• Animations, shaders, and small details on every screen

My goal isn’t just a “playable” thing— it’s to create an experience that feels different every run, making players both think and rage.

🎴 Who is Lucky?

At the heart of the game is Lucky. An adventure-loving, anime-style girl… though we’re a little suspicious about her mental stability.

You’re trying to keep Lucky alive. But the game doesn’t really help you—instead, it often pretends to have your back while secretly scheming behind your back.

Some bosses:

• Poison you
• Only appear if you have their card in your deck
• And sometimes, your own cards betray you and turn into bosses

⚙️ Development Process (and Breakdowns)

While making this game:

• I fought with a black screen for days because of a single line of code
• The battle screen became invisible due to animations
• A “small tweak” took 4 days of my life
• I learned that the localization system was harder than the game itself

But after every crisis, the game became better.

And the beautiful part: Systems I didn’t originally plan—like stamina, weather, difficulty-based music—became some of the strongest parts of the game, born from solving problems along the way.
